    Gonadotropina kosmówkowa jest hormonem ciążowym, który ułatwia utrzymanie ciąży oraz warunkuje prawidłowy jej rozwój w pierwszych dniach od zapłodnienia. Dostępne w aptekach bez recepty testy wykrywają stężenie beta hCG w moczu lub we krwi przyszłej mamy i jest to zazwyczaj pierwsze potwierdzenie bycia w ciąży. Kiedy najwcześniej warto wykonać test na beta hCG?

    Co to jest beta hCG?

    Beta hCG to skrót od podjednostki beta (β) gonadotropiny kosmówkowej. Jest to hormon wytwarzany przez komórki składowej łożyska – syncytiotrofoblastu. Jego poziom wzrasta szczególnie gwałtownie w pierwszych tygodniach ciąży.

    Gonadotropina kosmówkowa warunkuje prawidłowy jej rozwój w pierwszych dniach od zapłodnienia. Głównym zadaniem beta hCG jest stymulacja ciałka żółtego do produkcji progesteronu, który niezbędny jest do rozwoju ciąży. Gdy łożysko jest w pełni wykształcone, przejmuje ono tę funkcję. Beta hCG obecna jest w krwi oraz moczu przyszłej mamy. Fakt ten został wykorzystany w popularnych testach ciążowych.

    Jaki poziom beta hCG oznacza ciążę?

    Według większości laboratoriów wynik pozytywny testu ciążowego to stężenie beta hCG we krwi przekraczające 5 (lub 10) mlU/ml. Gdy poziom beta hCG przekracza 25 mlU/ml ciąża jest bardzo wysoce prawdopodobna. Stężenie hormonu może być wyższe w ciążach mnogich. 

    Należy jednak pamiętać, że każdy pozytywny test ciążowy powinien zostać potwierdzony w badaniu USG przez lekarza ginekologa. Najlepiej jest udać się do gabinetu w 7. tygodniu ciąży, aby możliwe było uwidocznienie pęcherzyka ciążowego w jamie macicy podczas badania USG. Wtedy stężenie beta hCG we krwi powinno wynosić ok. 1200 mlU/ml. Czynność serca dziecka widoczna zaś jest, gdy stężenie gonadotropiny kosmówkowej sięga około 10 000 mlU/ml.

    Kiedy najwcześniej test na beta hCG?

    Gonadotropina kosmówkowa produkowana jest przez syncytiotrofoblast już od 2. tygodnia ciąży, a najwyższe stężenie osiąga między 60. a 80. dniem ciąży. Uważa się, że najwcześniej badanie beta hCG można wykonać około 8–10 dni po zapłodnieniu. Test z krwi można wykonać jeszcze przed datą planowanej miesiączki. Testy ciążowe z moczu zaleca się wykonywać w dniu spodziewanej miesiączki, ponieważ wcześniej mogłyby pokazać fałszywie ujemny wynik. 

    Beta hCG tydzień po stosunku

    Niektóre pary starające się o dziecko chcą zrobić test ciążowy jak najszybciej po stosunku czy owulacji. Należy jednak pamiętać o fizjologii ciąży. Stężenie beta hCG gwałtownie wzrasta po implantacji zarodka w jamie macicy, do którego dochodzi około 7. dnia po zapłodnieniu, a do pełnego zagnieżdżenia dochodzi około 12. dnia. Dlatego też wykonywanie badania beta hCG tydzień po stosunku może dać fałszywie ujemny wynik. Poza tym nie zawsze dokładnie wiadomo, w którym dniu doszło do zapłodnienia z uwagi na czas przeżycia komórki jajowej (24 godziny) i plemników (nawet do kilku dni). Najlepiej jest więc poczekać z wykonaniem testu ciążowego do około 2 tygodni po stosunku, a badanie beta hCG z moczu zrobić w dniu spodziewanej miesiączki.

    Jakie są normy beta hCG w ciąży?

    Beta hCG w prawidłowo rozwijającej się ciąży przyrasta podobnie u wszystkich kobiet (o 66–100 proc. w ciągu 48 godzin). Na podstawie stężenia beta hCG we krwi oszacować można więc wiek ciąży. Termin porodu powinien jednak zostać ustalony w oparciu o datę ostatniej miesiączki i skorygowany podczas USG I trymestru na podstawie długości ciemieniowo-siedzeniowej (CRL) dziecka. 

    Zbyt wysoki poziom beta hCG w stosunku do wieku ciążowego może sugerować zespół Downa u dziecka czy też zaśniad groniasty. Nieprawidłowy przyrost ma także miejsce w przebiegu ciąży pozamacicznej czy przy poronieniu. Z tego powodu każdy dodatni test ciążowy wymaga konsultacji z lekarzem ginekologiem w celu potwierdzenia prawidłowo umiejscowionej i dobrze rozwijającej się ciąży.

    1. USP Zdrowie and Facebook Ireland Limited, with its registered office at 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland, act as joint controllers (entities jointly deciding on the purposes and methods of personal data processing).

Both USP Zdrowie and Facebook Ireland Limited provide the possibility of exercising the right to object. in the event of receipt of a request related to an objection to the processing of personal data, USP Zdrowie and Facebook Ireland Limited will take appropriate steps regarding the further processing of their users' data.
    7. USP Zdrowie is responsible for the proper implementation and configuration of Facebook Pixel. Facebook Ireland Limited remains responsible for ensuring the security of the service offered to us and personal data processed as part of Facebook Pixel.
    8. USP Zdrowie and Facebook Ireland Limited remain responsible for the proper response to all identified data breaches. The responsibility of USP Zdrowie in connection with the use of Facebook Pixel services applies to all cases related to providing users with a properly implemented and configured tool. Facebook Ireland Limited is responsible for all data protection breaches related to processing operations performed as part of the marketing service provided to us.
