Kocyk jest jednym z ważnych elementów wyprawki dla noworodka. Ma wiele praktycznych zastosowań i towarzyszy dziecku zarówno w domu, jak i na spacerze. Na rynku mamy szeroki wybór kocyków. Jak wybrać kocyk dla niemowlaka?

Wszyscy, którzy opiekowali się maleńkim dzieckiem, przyznają, że lepiej mieć więcej niż jeden kocyk dla dziecka. Ubrania i akcesoria dziecka brudzą się, moczą i plamią. Zapasowy kocyk przyda się na pewno, kiedy zdarzy się taka niespodzianka.

Przy zakupie kocyka dla dziecka ważne jest, by był on na tyle elastyczny i miękki, by łatwo było otulić nim malca, co wpłynie nie tylko na jego komfort, ale również na poczucie bezpieczeństwa.

Kocyki wykonane z surowców dobrej jakości posłużą nam zdecydowanie dłużej i zachowają niezmienione właściwości, nawet po wielokrotnym praniu.

 

Rodzaje kocyków ze względu na surowiec

Koce bawełniane – naturalne, miękkie, dobrze regulujące temperaturę i zapobiegające przegrzaniu dziecka, idealne na wiosnę i lato. Na szczególną uwagę zasługują te z delikatniejszej i bardziej przewiewnej hipoalergicznej bawełny organicznej, wolnej od szkodliwych środków chemicznych.

Koce tkane z przędzy bawełnianej – miękkie, elastyczne, otulające, oddychające, o bardzo dobrych właściwościach ogrzewających, całoroczne.

Kocyki bambusowe – najdelikatniejsze ze wszystkich koców tkanych, istnieją wersje z jonami srebra, dodatkowo wzmacniającymi właściwości antybakteryjne i antygrzybiczne materiału podstawowego. Kocyki te nie alergizują, wręcz łagodzą stany zapalne skóry i poprawiają jej kondycję. Kocyki muślinowe – dwuwarstwowe, a jednocześnie miękkie, przewiewne, lekkie i delikatne, idealne na lato, wielofunkcyjne.

Koce z wełny merynosów – ekologiczne i biodegradowalne; doskonale pochłaniające wilgoć i separujące ją od skóry, oddychające, delikatne, bardzo lekkie i przyjemne w dotyku i niegryzące; całoroczne, ogrzewające w chłodne dni oraz zapobiegające przegrzaniu podczas upałów; nie pochłaniają zapachów, są antygrzybiczne i antyalergiczne, są także odporne na zabrudzenia.

Jaki powinien być kocyk dla niemowlaka?

Kocyk dla noworodka czy niemowlaka powinien być wykonany z bezpiecznych, certyfikowanych surowców, antyalergiczny i przyjemny. Takie cechy posiadają kocyki bambusowe oraz te z bawełny organicznej i wełny merynosów.

Jako że zadaniem kocyka jest zapewnienie właściwej termoregulacji, należy dobierać go do pory roku. Najbardziej uniwersalnym kocykiem będzie całoroczny – bambusowo-bawełniany albo z wełny merino.

Kocyki bambusowe czy muślinowe jako najbardziej przewiewne i najcieńsze są najlepszym wyborem na lato. Z kolei wiosną i jesienią sprawdzą się: bawełniany, bambusowo-bawełniany i z wełny merynosów, a zimą kocyk ocieplany lub z wełny merino.

Również przy wyborze splotu istotne jest, na jaką porę kupujemy kocyk. Jeśli na wiosnę i lato, warto zdecydować się na zakup przewiewnego kocyka ażurowego. Kocyk na dni chłodniejsze powinien mieć bardziej zwarty i gęsty splot.

Kocyki dostępne są w kilku rozmiarach. Jako pierwszy można wybrać 60 x 70 cm, najodpowiedniejszy do okrywania noworodka np. w wózku, bez konieczności składania na pół. Kolejnym kocykiem, na przykład do spacerówki, może być taki w rozmiarze 80 x 100 cm, a następnym – 100 x 120 cm.

 

Pranie kocyka dla dziecka

Kocyki dla dzieci są bardzo delikatne, należy o nie dbać, by nie straciły miękkości i elastyczności. Należy prać je ręcznie albo w pralce w temperaturze 30 stopni Celsjusza, korzystając z programu do delikatnych tkanin. Do prania należy używać delikatnych środków piorących, pozbawionych chloru i wybielaczy.

Podczas prania kocyków bambusowych warto pamiętać, by nie dodawać środków zmiękczających, które mogą pozbawić kocyk jego właściwości.

Kocyki należy suszyć po rozłożeniu na płasko i nie prasować ich.

 

Jak przykrywać małe dziecko?

Sposób przykrywania i wybór okrycia uzależnione są od wieku dziecka.

W pierwszych miesiącach życia malca należy okrywać dość ciasno, zawijając w rożki i otulacze, które zapewnią poczucie bezpieczeństwa.

Starszym niemowlętom dedykowane są luźniejsze śpiworki i obszerniejsze kocyki pozwalające na większą swobodę ruchów, a jednocześnie uniemożliwiające niekontrolowane przykrycie twarzy czy „rozkopanie” się.
